Echoes in the Clockwork Labyrinth
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
In the dim glow of brass lanterns, I traced the silver threads of an unseen map that curled like a sleeping serpent across the floor. Each turn seemed to hum with the heartbeat of gears, as if the walls themselves whispered the promise of hidden chambers. The air smelled of oil and possibility, and every shadow offered a riddle woven from copper and thought. I felt the path unfurl not by design but by intuition, each step a fragile bridge between known and unknown, inviting curiosity to follow without fear.
