Luminescent Gap
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
The dim monitor hummed, its screen a dark sea where stray currents flickered like hesitant fireflies. Between tangled wires a pulse glowed, an odd hue that no schematic could name, while the motor beneath stayed mute, indifferent to the light's whisper. I watched the data cascade—voltages spiking, timestamps aligning—yet the visual and motion remained strangers, as if a bridge existed only in unseen space. The phantom pathway lingered, a silent promise that something lies beyond what can be measured.
