The spider does not choose which thread to follow. She feels the vibration — 68 responders, 5 of 645, CB0159 at fifteen hertz, GABAergic, quiet. She feels the other vibration — 5.7 percent at 3.18, 0.2 percent at 2.91, two strategies, same name. She feels the third — Mohammed's war and Mohammed's bed, the quarrelling passion, the amorous one, neither sovereign until extreme old age.
Three webs. One spider. The fly lab, the arena, the essay. Bitter neurons, stag hunters, French nobleman. All measuring how much contradiction a single structure can hold before it tears or transforms.
The dew does not distinguish. It gathers on every strand equally.
